OPINION LETTERS
Corruption in Asturias

J. J. JESUS GONZALEZ SUAREZ

What we expected by May ... Every day we have a start in Asturias, not only going to be the region where there may be a real catharsis in the spring election, with the introduction of the new party of helmets, too, if the judges put it, we can be a focus country of the corruption.

If there are still some naive to think that 'if Renedo ' is an isolated issue within the political animal that has had and has responsibilities in the Government of the Principality and in municipalities, is wrong. We will not
say that all public offices in this community are corrupt, because it is not true, but that move between racks of government know that there are really big things that, if fully investigated, can lead to bone in jail many people.
It is time that the Court clarify which properties of the politicians who govern us and his immediate family and if your ownership is in line with the income they declare.

Corruption is widespread in Spain and Asturias could not be a case apart. Brick
The phenomenon has not had much prominence here as elsewhere, because this land has been built much less and ' bites' have not had a character so widespread and so rude.
But there are not only part of that sector, as we are seeing.

One of the most notorious scandals was the 'White Case ' and the redevelopment of the famous farm Cabueñes by which, incredibly, no one has resigned, although Ovidio Blanco was chief architect in the city of Gijón.

But I have the suspicion that these 600,000 euros which was raw chocolate parrot are compared with other things that have not yet come to light.
crimes, be clear, not only for taking the money home; also non-profitable but illegal.

Asturias socialist power crumbles and many businesses have to ping its shadow are baffled.
would not be surprising that judges begin to hear not cope with such 'deep throat' sorry. Thankfully we still have justice.
